Plenty of goals in Division Two games
Malew moved up to fifth in JCK Division Two on Saturday after a goalfest at Clagh Vane.
Doubles from Dean Kinley and Dale Walker and one apiece from Ashley Egan and Kieran Krypner fired them to a 6-4 home victory over Ayre United.
Kinley opened the scoring inside 12 minutes before Walker doubled the advantage 10 minutes later.
Egan and then Kinley again – with a superb effort from the halfway line - found the net in quick succession to give the southerners a 4-0 half-time lead.
Walker and Krypner put Malew 6-0 up before the spirited Tangerines rallied through Andrew Crowe, Dylan Gampbell, Stephen Mealin and James Bucuris.
Ramsey Youth Centre put five past Douglas and District without reply and stay fourth in the standings.
