
St John’s have won the Division Two treble.
Two goals in a minute from player-manager Nick Hurt and Callum Gallagher fired them to the Paul Henry Gold Cup.
It was harsh on Colby who hit the woodwork twice in the first half and took the lead soon after the re-start when Chris McKenna fired them in front from the penalty spot.
However, St John’s – who thrashed the southerners 8-1 in the recent GH Corlett Woods Cup Final – came back and Hurt levelled before Gallagher’s winner.
It sealed a season to remember for St John’s who also enjoyed a record breaking Division Two campaign.
