Wade, Corkill and Skinner among winners

It was a busy day at Meary Veg with four shoots taking part .
It started out with the IOM ABT Championship sponsored by Sadler Agricultural Supplies. The winner was Arran Wade with 89, in second place on 88 was Jake Keeling with Alan Wade third on 87.
Results
1st Arr Wade 25,23,19,22=89, 2nd J Keeling 21,19,24,24=88, 3rd Al Wade 21,21,23,22=87.
The fourth and fifth rounds of the Sadler Agricultural Supplies league were also held in conjunction with the championship.
Winning round four was Mark Riley on 44 with Stan skinner in second place on 41 and Rob Watterson was third on 40, the handicap winner was Mike Walker with 54 points.
It was roles reversed for round five with Stan Skinner in first place on 43, Mark Riley in second place on 40 and Rob Watterson again in third place on 38.
Mike Walker was once again the handicap winner on 53 points.
The final event of the day was the fourth round of the Manx Petroleum's Olympic skeet league including the Cannel Crossing cup.
The winner of this was Jeff Corkill with 38 points, in equal-second place on 37 points were Giulio Fabrizio and Ted Davis.
A shoot-off was required to find a winner of the Cannell crossing cup between Jeff Corkill and Giulio Fabrizio who both had 17 points and Jeff won 3/2.
Next week is the final round of the Sadler Agricultural Supplies ABT league and the final two rounds of the Manx Petroleum's Olympic skeet league, including the David Clague High Gun and Handicap cups both up for grabs on round five.
