League stage winner also enjoys cup success at Meary Veg

The second round of the Manx Petroleum's Olympic Skeet league was held at Meary Veg Santon with an excellent turnout of eleven shooters taking part in dry but blustery conditions, which also had the added incentive of having the Cannell crossing cup up for grabs .
The leader after the first round was junior Zac Bellhouse with a 21, in second place on 19 were Jeff Corkill and Brian Faragher with Liam Kirkpatrick next on 18.
Kirkpatrick was in the lead after round two on 40 with Guilio Fabrizio next on 37 followed by Corkill, Faragher and Bellhouse on 36.
Kirkpatrick was still in the lead after round three on 59 with Fabrizio next on 56 followed by Faragher, Ted Davis and Micheal Cross on 54.
There was no stopping Kirkpatrick in the last round as he finished with a 21 to take the high gun prize on 80 with Ted Davis in second place on 75 and Guilio Fabrizio third on 74.
In the cup section Liam Kirkpatrick made it a double taking the cup with 39 points .

Handicap =1st B Faragher 68+36, J Faragher jnr 64+ 40=104
The second round of the Sadler Agricultural Supplies ABT league was also held, and the winner was Peter Kelly with 77 points also winning the J D Faulkner High gun cup with John Moore taking the Kelly Handicap cup with 103 points.
