Shooting: Mihailovits & Sammer shine in skeet league second round

Two-way tie for honours at Meary Veg

The second round of the UTOPIA Hair Salon winter series English skeet league was held at Meary Veg Santon with 20 competitors taking part in dry dull conditions.

The leader after the first round was Roman Sammer with a perfect 25 straight, in second place was B class shooter Giulio Fabrizio on 24 with Paul Mihailovits, James Simpson, Brian Faragher and C-class Peter Fabrizio in equal third place on 23.

After the second round we had Irene Stockil in third place in C class on 42 with Peter Fabrizio taking second place with 43 points and winning C class with 45 points was Mike Whitehead. 

Dave Corlett was third in B class on 44 with Brian Faragher taking second place with 45 and winning B class with 46 points was Giulio Fabrizio. 

We had a tie for third place in A class between junior Joe Fargher and James Simpson on 46 and we also had a tie for first place between Roman Sammer and Paul Mihailovits both scoring 47.
