Manx cyclist impresses in Norfolk
Manx riders made their mark at the HSBC UK National Road Cycling Championships in Norfolk yesterday.
Lizzie Holden went one better than she did last year, and won silver in the under-23 women's time trial.
She finished eight seconds behind the winner, Anna Henderson and around 17 seconds ahead of third-placed Pfeiffer Georgi.
Earlier in the day, Mark Christian lined up in the elite men's time trial and finished tenth.
He'd been on course for a higher finish, but his handlebars snapped with 5km to go, which resulted in him crashing with 1km to go.
