Talented young Isle of Man archer Aalin George has missed out on a gold medal by the narrowest of margins.
Making her international debut for Great Britain, the 14 year-old was competing in the final of the Women's Cadet compound competition at the European Archery Junior Cup at Reggio in Italy.
Aalin is three years younger than any other competitor at the tournament but, despite this, took the silver medal.
The final finished all square with Aalin pipped by less than 4mm in the single arrow shoot-out.
