Tromode club clinches championship

Bacchas A are champions for the sixth year in a row.

They clinched the PwC Mixed Premier League in style with a 6-1 romp against their nearest rivals Vikings A.

Andy Whiting (two) Jamie Brown, Abbey Magee, Karl Moore and Emma Leeming were all on target for Manx hockey’s dominant force.

Alex Birch notched the Vikings’ consolation.

Bacchas B hit six of the best.

Jonny Callow (two), Craig Leece (two), Sophie Hudson and Martin Davies were their scorers in a 6-1 victory.

Already relegated Quins’ consolation came from Shae Christian.
