Simon Skillicorn (pictured) won round two of the Manx Fell League at Greeba on Saturday.
He finished in 1:16.52, just 17 seconds ahead of MFR club-mate Tom Cringle, who'd claimed victory in the opening round at St John's on New Year's Day.
Manx Harriers' Andy Watson was third, almost six minutes behind Cringle, with the top five completed by two more MFR runners, Ian Gale and Anthony Bell-Scott.
Manx Harriers' Sarah Curphey took an excellent ladies win on her fell debut in 1:47.12, finishing 22nd overall.
Rose Hooton (MFR, 30th) was second lady home in 1:51.57 and Justine Bowen (MH, 37th) third 2:02.39.
Conditions were bright but the going heavy underfoot as a big turnout of 50 competitors took on the nine mile course.
