Teacher heading to Italy
Lesley Sleight has been selected to make her debut for Great Britain at the 3D Archery World Championships.
The PE teacher from Queen Elizabeth the Second High School in Peel will compete in the Ladies Longbow class as part of a nine strong British team.
The tournament takes place in Italy at the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Mamore Falls in Terni from Monday 31st August until Sunday 6th September.
Lesley is the current British Champion and has broken two UK records in the past year.
