Island player out of group stage on frame difference in China
Isle of Man snooker player Darryl Hill's campaign at The World Games for 2025 has come to a close.
The Island competitor suffered a two-frame defeat to fellow Great Britain player Zac Cosker (25-74, 45-80) earlier today (12 August).
As a result, Hill finishes the group stage behind Cosker only on frame difference in Group C meaning Cosker and India's Sourav Kothari progress to the knockout phase.
Despite the elimination, Hill did get a 2-1 win on the board against Kothari earlier in the tournament.
Isle of Man Billiards & Snooker Association says it's sure Darryl will look back on the event as 'another amazing experience.'
