
The Isle of Man's womens footballers recorded their best ever Island Games result by bringing home silver today.
They started strongly against tournament favourites Aland, Jade Burden scored for the Manx within five minutes.
Aland closed ranks and dominated from then on, scoring four goals in quick succession and eventually putting five goals past the Manx keeper.
Aland take the gold, the Manx silver and Greenland bronze after beating Western Isles in this morning's runners-up match.
