Rob Hodson, Paul Cranston and the Crowe Brothers also secure victory
There were two wins for Davey Todd as the first races got underway at the Southern 100 last night.
The 8Ten Racing rider claimed victory in the Senior Race, almost five seconds ahead of Dean Harrison, with Nathan Harrison completing the top three, before holding off Mike Browne for the win in the first of the 600cc races.
Todd was denied the hattrick on the night though as Rob Hodson took the honours in the Lightweight race ahead of Todd and Joe Yeardsley.
The second 600cc race had to be re-run at the end of the night after a six-rider incident brought out the red flag; organisers confirmed all riders involved were uninjured.
It was Paul Cranston who took the win, while in the Sidecars Ryan and Callum Crowe showed strong pace on their way to victory.
Racing continues today, with roads around the Billown Course due to close from 9.30am until 12.45pm, and again from 1.30pm until 4.45pm.
