Island's only off-road triathlon to be held in Sept
A 400m reservoir swim, followed by a 10k plantation bike ride, topped off with a 5k run. Sound appealing?
Entries are pouring in for the only off-road Triathlon in the Isle of Man.
The Granite Mann is a gruelling course being held at Cringle next month as a fundraiser for the Children's Centre.
Both teams and individuals can enter and, new this year, you also have the option to enter just the bike and run parts of the challenge.
Organiser Jane Howland and Lindsay Smith from event sponsor Brown Craine spoke to Rhian Evans:
Closing date for entries is Monday 14 September ( to receive an event T-shirt however you will need to register by Friday 5 September) and the event is for those over 18.
For more information on the event and how to enter, click here or contact Jane Howland by email fundraising@thechildrenscentre.org.im or calling 01624 800 000.
