Corinthians defeat hands Geordies a big advantage
St George's are on the brink of securing a 13th top flight title in 15 years.
The reigning champions came back from 2-0 down to thrash Douglas Royal 7-2 last night.
It means they are firm favourites to lift the trophy once again after Corinthians slipped up in their match against Peel.
A last-gasp own goal by Corinthians defender Cameron Lee meant it was the Douglas Road side got all the points, paving the way for St George's to win the league.
If results go their way, St George's could have the title wrapped up by Saturday.
