
St. Georges have powered back to the top of the Canada Life Premier League.
They beat Rushen 5-0 at Glencrutchery Road on Thursday evening thanks to goals from Chris Bass (2), Calum Morrissey (2) and Ciaran McNulty.
Most of the damage was done in the first half with the home side taking a 4-0 lead.
Top of the Premier League:-
1. St. Georges - played 19 for 55 points
2. Laxey - played 21 for 54 points
3. St. Marys - played 21 for 52 points
And Union Mills have made themselves favourites for both promotion and the Division Two title after a 4-0 win against potential rivals Onchan.
The game was played at Blackberry Lane - the scorers were Gareth Logan (2), Steven Quine (pen) and Kenny Magee.
