St Marys 3-0 St Johns
Frank Jones scored two as his St Mary's side beat St John's 3-0 to cut the gap at the top of the Canada Life Premier League on Saturday.
Craig Murphy notched the other for the Saints.
They are now three points off the leaders Peel who have played one game more.
The westerners weren't in action this weekend.
With both sides level on goal difference in the standings, Mary's know victory in their game in hand will see them return to the summit.
