Yesterday was another low-key one for Mark Cavendish at the Tour of Spain, but day's fifth stage should provide him with another chance to grab a victory.
Cav finished way down the leaderboard on stage four, over 19 minutes behind the winner Igor Anton.
The route, from Malaga to Valdepeñas de Jaén, contained three categorised climbs and offered no opportunity for the sprinters.
By comparison today, which sees the riders head from Guadix to Lorca in the south of Spain, is relatively flat.
It does contain a few climbs, but if the sprinters stay close to the front through the modest ups and downs, they are in for an ideal finish over the last 80km between Maria and Lorca.
