He avoids trouble in UAE Tour
Mark Cavendish finished 22nd in today's opening stage of the UAE Tour.
The Manx cyclist was able to avoid a pile up as the riders approached the finish line after 143km of racing.
He's in action again tomorrow but over a much shorter distance of 12.1km in the individual time trial.
Tim Merlier is the current Tour leader.
