A newcomer for TT 2011 is spending the weekend driving around the mountain course in a hire car, trying to learn as much as possible.
Twenty-four-year-old Scottish rider Jimmy Storrar began racing in 2004 and has taken part in the National Superstock Championship since 2007.
He competed at Macau last November and finished 7th, one place behind John McGuinness and one ahead of Cameron Donald.
Storrar is delighted with the package he has for his Isle of Man debut:
World Downhill Skateboarding Championships planning Island return
Boxing: Sam Rennie claims Australasian Super Featherweight title
TT 2026: Ian Hutchinson to spearhead new team
FC Isle of Man narrowly beaten by title-hopefuls Chadderton
Hockey: Bacchas Men's sides take step closer to league title's 2026 season
