Success for Manx riders in 2-day Enduro event

15-year-old Isaac Batty dominates racing field

Some of Britain’s finest Enduro racers mingled with the finest Manx racers this weekend for the 4th round of the British National Enduro Series.

More 220 visiting racers came over for the event, joining them were more than 60 local women and men riders to race the national round.

Among the winners was Manx rider Callum Christian of Limitless Cycles, he dominated the Under 15s category.

Manx racer Sapphire Ascroft of Sico MTB / D&D cycles won the under-21 women category. 

The lead rider of the whole event was local lad 15-year-old Isaac Batty of Orange Bikes / Cycle 360. 

He dominated the racing field, smoking every adult, and many seasoned pros. 

Batty is soon to be racing in his first international events at the DH European Champs in Le Menuires and EWS Loudenville in September.
