Local swimmer improves on competition debut last year
Manx swimmer Elizabeth Tinkler has made a successful return to the British Down Syndrome Swimming Championships.
The competition took place at K2 Crawley over the 19 and 20 November and featured more than 100 athletes from of all ages and abilities, across 44 events.
Tinkler made her debut in the competition last year, coming away with a gold and a bronze medal.
This year she's gone one better.
Elizabeth won gold in the 25m Freestyle Masters 1 and claimed silver in the Female 25m Backstroke Masters 1.
