Main field away at 9.30am
More than 260 competitors have registered for today's Syd Quirk Half-Marathon.
Starting with a lap of Ronaldsway industrial estate, the races then take in laps of a six-mile route which goes through Ballasalla and Ballabeg, before heading back to Castletown via Ballakaighan and the bypass.
The 49 walkers will be the first to set off, at 8.30am, followed by the slower runners at 8.45am and main field of runners at 9.30am.
