Manx born Lloyd Taggart, who returns to live in the Isle of Man in October, won last night's Northern 10km.
More known for his fell than road running, Lloyd won the race in 34 minutes and 10 seconds.
He finished 3 minutes 30 seconds ahead of Richard Radcliffe with Kevin Vondy in third.
The first woman home was Gail Griffiths who smashed her personal best time to win in 38 minutes and 55 seconds for fifth place overall.
The run tonight at Foxdale, the Anna Maria Cutillo 6, is threatened due to a shortage of marshals - if you can help please text or call Paul Jackson on 487873.
