Higgins sees red in defeat on the road
Ten-man FC Isle of Man were on the receiving end of a 3-0 defeat at Stockport Town in the NWCFL Premier Division yesterday afternoon (6 April).
The hosts led through a George West strike on 16 minutes before Ibrahima Diop doubled their advantage six minutes later.
Trailing, 'The Ravens'' task got tougher when striker, Charlie Higgins was shown a straight red card in first-half stoppage time for a challenge on Stockport Town's Jack Atkinson.
In the second period, Stockport Town further cemented their lead with a third from Tobias Green in the 77th minute on their way to three points.
For FC Isle of Man, it's now just one win since the start of March with two more matches of their league campaign to come.
The first of those will be away against Charnock Richard this coming Saturday (11 April), kicking-off at Mossie Park at 3pm.
