He faces Jaume Munar of Spain in men's singles first round
**UPDATE - 1.24pm - The match has resumed in the second set following a delay of over one hour due to rain**
Isle of Man pro tennis player Billy Harris is making his dream debut at Wimbledon today.
The former Albany Lawn Tennis Club and Castletown Lawn Tennis Club competitor is taking part in the first round of the men's singles at the Grand Slam event from 11am this morning.
His opponent will be Jaume Munar of Spain with both to face off on Court 15 at the All England Club.
It's the first time the two will have met on the tour - Harris has currently got a 52 per cent win rate in matches in 2024 whilst Munar has a win rate of 49 per cent.
On grass courts, the former Manx resident has 30 wins in his career so far whilst Munar has two.
Following a recent run of good form, Harris has earned himself a wildcard entry to this year's competition and is currently Britain's fifth seed in the men's draw.
Alongside the men's singles he is also due to compete in the men's doubles competition alongside fellow British player Liam Broady.
On the lead up to this he reached the semi-finals of last week's Eastbourne International and before that reached the third round of the cinch Championships at The Queen's Club.
