Island pro player reaches third qualifying round at Roland Garros
Isle of Man pro tennis player Billy Harris is just one match away from potentially booking a place in this year's French Open.
He's reached the third qualifying round of the men's singles event following a three-set second-round win over Manuel Guinard (3-6, 6-3, 7-6) earlier today (22 May).
Harris - formerly of Albany Lawn Tennis Club on Island - will now face Monaco's Valentin Vacherot for a place in the grand slam event main draw.
Should he progress to the men's singles competition proper, that is due to get underway at Roland Garros on Sunday, 26 May.
