Lieutenant Governor cuts the ceremonial ribbon
A Douglas based tennis club has officially reopened its indoor tennis court.
Albany Lawn Tennis Club had been without use of the court since September 2025 after needing to replace the roof.
However players and coaches have now returned to the court.
The grand opening ceremony was attended by The Lieutenant Governor with His Excellency cutting the ribbon.
Other guests included MHK Sarah Maltby, Ian Copley (structural engineer for the project), Abi Harris, the mother of Billy Harris, and club secretary Pat Sharp.
Albany's next event will be a fundraising celebration dinner at the Empress Hotel on Friday, 27 March.
