Island pro suffers narrow third qualifying round defeat
Isle of Man pro tennis player Billy Harris has just missed out on a place in the main draw at this year's French Open.
He's suffered a straight sets defeat in the third qualifying round of the men's singles against Valentin Vacherot of Monaco 7-6, 7-5.
The first round proper of the Grand Slam at Roland Garros gets underway on Sunday.
On his way to today's clash, former Albany Lawn Tennis club member Harris had beaten USA's Emilio Nava and Manuel Guinard of France.
