Men's team bows out at quarter-final stage
The Isle of Man women's tennis team have secured a bronze medal at this year's Island Games in Guernsey.
They secured joint-third place alongside hosts Guernsey after reaching the semi-finals stage of the competition this evening (9 July) before being beaten by Jersey who progress to tomorrow's women's team event final.
It brings the Isle of Man's medal total on day one of the games to six.
Elsewhere, the Isle of Man men's team bowed out of their respective competition in the quarter-finals after valiant display in a narrow 2-1 loss to third seeds, Bermuda.
