Castletown Tennis Club to host comp with cash prizes
Tennis players are being invited to show off their skills in a new tournament this weekend with cash prizes up for grabs.
There'll be four groups playing in both the Singles and Doubles events, all of who will go head-to-head in a round robin with the winners and runners up in each group continuing onto the next rounds.
All participants will play at least 3 matches each, although this will be determined by group size.
The Singles tournament winner will get a cash prize £100, while the Doubles event winners will get £50.
Sponsored by BodyCraft Fitness Castletown, the tournament is for anyone aged 14 and over and is being held this Saturday (1 May) at Castletown Tennis Club; the action gets underway at 12 noon.
