The match has been postponed twice already
After two aborted attempts to travel to Stockport, Douglas make their third try this weekend.
They currently sit in second place in the North One west standings and a win with a bonus point could see them take top spot.
Stockport however haven’t lost at home this season and will be tough to crack.
Formwise however things are against them. They won away at bottom side De La Salle, however, defeats away at Manchester and Broughton Park suggest that their away form this season is not what it could or should be.
The Manchester defeat was by a single point and could be viewed as a blip but the margin at Broughton Park last weekend is much more of a concern.
Douglas have the meanest defence in the league but shipped 31 points last weekend which is more than in any other game this season.
There are some squad changes to consider this weekend too.
Bryn Snellgrove is missing from the number ten jersey and will be replaced by Carl Murray who sat out last week’s game.
The Wyllie brothers who were called up from the Celts last week both retain their places and there are also spots in the squad for Josh Carine and Filipe Pereira.
Guy Wood and Craig McGee both drop out due to knocks picked up last Saturday.
