Ravens suffered narrow pre-season loss at the weekend
FC Isle of Man's manager says his team's narrow pre-season loss at the weekend is another opportunity for the squad to learn more ahead of the new season.
The Ravens went down 1-0 to Widnes at The Bowl on Saturday evening (9 July), courtesy of an 84th-minute strike from Fisnik Hajari for the visitors.
It was a stern test for the Island side against a Widnes team who're competing in the Northern Premier League West - a tier above FC Isle of Man.
Ravens' manager, Chris Bass, told FC IoM's official website he thought his team lacked some quality in the final third, but there were positives to take from the performance:
