The Manx Missile has hit back in his bid for the Tour de France green jersey, winning today's stage 10 in a bunch sprint finish.
Mark Cavendish held off his main rival Thor Hushovd in the final few hundred metres to grab his third stage win of this year's tour, and seventh overall.
He's also clawed back five points on the big Norwegian in the points standings, he now has 141 to Hushovd's 147.
Once again Cav benefitted from some stellar lead-out work from his Columbia team-mates - Mark Renshaw in particular - and delivered the victory as he almost always does when put in that position.
