Douglas put in their best performance of the season to win 53-12 at Newton-le-Willows in EuroManx South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Three.
The home side battled well throughout but, after Douglas withstood an initial onslaught, they took their chances to lead narrowly at the break before pulling away convincingly in the second half with a barrage of points.
A hat-trick of tries from man of the match Geoff Miles, a double from James Wood and one each from Chris Brew and Nick Horsthuis confirmed their superiority.
Bryn Sellgrove was excellent with the ‘boot’, delivering six conversions and two penalties as Douglas maintained their 100 per cent start to the season.
The only disappointment for the visitors was a suspected broken collar bone for Brew.
