The Isle of Man maintained their 100 per cent record with an exciting victory over Spain on day three of the European Under 17 Division Two Cricket Championships.
That was enough for the hosts to keep their lead at the top of Group B following earlier victories over Germany and Switzerland.
And in the end it was a comfortable victory for the Island by 60 runs in what had seemed, for a while, destined to be a much tighter affair.
The Island have a rest day on Tuesday before facing Austria in a potential group decider at King William’s College on Wednesday.
