
A charity event which is believed to be unique is aiming to raise funds for an important local organisation today (Monday).
Two three-man teams of golfers will attempt to play a round at every course on the Isle of Man, with proceeds going to Cruse Bereavement Care.
One team is teeing off at Glen Truan in Bride at first light, with the other on standing by at Ramsey awaiting news the round has been completed.
They will then head down the Island, alternating courses in a relay.
Sam Skelton, who is captaining one of the teams and is also a member of the charity's management board, sees it as quite a challenge, given how tight time will be:
