It's been a tough Tour of Switzerland for Mark Cavendish so far, with it predominantly being in the mountains.
Both stages two and three featured climbs above 2000 metres, with Cavendish finishing 138th and 141st respectively.
Today's 198km from Grindelwald to Huttwil is flatter, possibly giving an opportunity for a sprint finish.
There is however a category two climb in the first half of the stage and a category three climb on the finishing circuit in Huttwil, which is ridden twice.
Also, the last 2km are slighly uphill.
