Manxman to make second appearance in event next month
Isle of Man triathlete Will Draper has received a second wildcard entry to this year's T100 Triathlon World Tour.
The Manxman will contest the fourth round of the series in London on Saturday, 9 August.
Last month, the former Isle of Man Commonwealth and Island Games competitor was also a wildcard in the previous round of the series in Vancouver from 13-15 June.
During that, Draper finished 15th in class and picked up six T100 series points in the process.
The T100 tour itself features 40 elite long-distance athletes - 20 male and 20 female - all competing to become series champion and earn a share of $9million.
Wildcards such as Draper take part in stages and are chosen by 'exceptional recent performances, top athletes coming back from injury or maternity or more Olympians stepping up in distance.'
