Trial des Nations success 'a massive achievement', says Adshead

Manx trials rider became a world champion again last weekend

Isle of Man trials competitor, Kaytlyn Adshead says it feels like a 'massive achievement' to be a winner once again at the prestigous Trial des nations.

Last weekend, the Manx rider was part of the Great Britain women's team which took gold at the event in Spain which was the third time in four years the British female squad has won the meeting.

In what has been another strong season so far, Adshead also recently finished sixth in this year's FIM Trials World Championship.

As well as praising the Isle of Man's ongoing ability to produce talent in the sport, she hopes she can continue to be a role model to others going forward:

More generally, Adshead was also part of the winning Great Britain women's teams at the Trial des Nations in 2023 and 2024.

Last year, the Island competitor was crowned a European champion after winning the 2025 Trial ECW class of the Trials European Championship.

That among other successes also helped Adshead to being crowned Isle of Man Sportswoman of the Year for 2025 at the latest Isle of Man Sports Awards back in February this year.
