Butterworth & Higgins shine across season for Team Station Garage
Two Isle of Man trials competitor have been crowned British champions in this year's TrialGB Youth Championships.
Team Station Garage (TSG) riders, Lily Butterworth and Clodagh Higgins have taken top spot in their respective classes following the final two rounds of the season on Manx shores last weekend.
In the Trial GBY Aspire class, Butterworth stormed to a championship win, racking up 111 points in total, nearly 50 points clear of her second-nearest challenger - Scarlett Collins - on 65.
Meanwhile, Higgins managed a clean sweep of top scores throughout the campaign in the Trial 2Y Foundation competition, winnning the championship on 120 points ahead of Daisy Brookes in second (102).
Elsewhere, another TSG rider - Alessandra Beaumont - went on to finish third in the Trial 3Y Foundation standings.
Separately for TSG during the sixth and final phase of the championship on the Isle of Man, Butterworth, Higgins and Oliver Sidebottom all took gold medals in their classes.
There was silver for Carter Cubbon; a bronze for Beaumont and a seventh-place finish for Harrison Doyle.
