Manxman secures podium finish for Great Britain in Spain
Manx triathlete Will Draper secured a podium finish whilst represent Great Britain in the sport at this year's World Triathlon Long Distance Championships.
The Island competitor went on to secure third place in the Elite Men's Race at the meeting in Pontevedra, Spain on Sunday, 29 June.
His overall time of five hours, 41 minutes and 12 seconds was only 20 seconds off of the pace of second-placed finisher, Frenchman Dylan Magnien (five hours, 40 minutes and 52 seconds).
The race was won overall by home athlete - Spain's Antonio Benito Lopez - in five hours, 33 minutes and 33 seconds.
Earlier last month, Draper also had a wildcard entry into the T100 Triathlon World Tour round in Vancouver, Canada from 13-15 June.
