Popular event returns to Mooragh Park today
A good turnout is expected today (8 September) for one of the most popular events on the Isle of Man's triathlon calendar.
In one of the final events of the 2024 season, the 1886 Triathlon Championships will be held in and around Mooragh Park in Ramsey from 9am.
Those involved will take on either sprint or standard distance events.
The standard course will involve a 1500m swim course followed by a two-lap cycle circuit and concluding with a four-lap running course.
The sprint class will involve a shorter 750m swim with competitors taking on the same cycling and running courses but over shorter distances of one lap and two laps respectively.
