Leeming and Franklin win men's and women's events
Manx athletes have won three gold medals and a silver across the men's and women's half marathons at the Island Games in Guernsey.
In the men's race, Corrin Leeming won gold with a time of 1:08:16. Alan Corlett finished 4th in a time of 1:09:05 and Samuel Jones came 11th in 1:12:30. The combined scores also placed the Isle of Man top of the team competition, meaning another gold medal.
In the women's event, Rachael Franklin collected her third gold medal of the week, running a time of 1:22:15. Rebekah Pate finished 15th with a time of 1:32:15. In the team competition, the Isle of Man ranked second behind the Isle of Wight to win silver.
The Isle of Wight's Charlie Metcalfe finished the women's half marathon in second, whilst Gibraltar's Kim Baglietto finished third.
Silver in the men's individual race went to Lewis MacAlpine from the Western Isles and bronze went to George Rice of Jersey.
