Rider reveals he sustained a wound to his shoulder at Crosby on the final lap
A TT rider has revealed he finished yesterday's Superstock despite injuring his shoulder at Crosby.
Maurizio Bottalico's shoulder struck a wall on the third lap of the race, ripping his leathers and leaving him with a wound on his shoulder.
Posting on social media, he said he gritted his teeth to finish the race, but needed to go to hospital for treatment afterwards.
Bottalico had been due to ride in today's Senior Race, but has indicated the injury will prevent him from doing so.
