Manx rider says it's due to 'circumstances outside of our control'
Island-born motorcycle racer, Jamie Williams has announced he's had to withdraw from the 2026 Isle of Man TT Races.
The rider says this is is due to 'circumstances outside of our control' and is asking people not to speculate around the matter, calling it a 'very tough situation for all concerned.'
Furthermore, Williams is thanking those who've supported them throughout the process.
This year would've been the Manxman's second time at the TT having made his first and only previous appearance back in 2018.
Since then, he's been a regular contender at the likes of the Manx Grand Prix and last year won both the Supersport MGP and Junior MGP races at that meeting.
In his update on social media, Williams adds the 'focus and full attention' now goes to the rest of the 2026 season, adding they remain 'fully committed' to being back at the TT in 2027.
