Proposals for event currently out to consultation
Isle of Man Senior TT winner Steve Plater's confident the inaugural Isle of Wight road races will go ahead next year.
Proposals for the event, which is due to take place in April, are currently at the public consultation stage.
The retired racer's been acting as a consultant and is expecting some of the top names will take part.
That's despite the risk of injury which could rule them out of the TT:
