She will co-host opening to this summer's event in Orkney
Famous TV presenter Lorraine Kelly has been confirmed as one of the hosts for the opening ceremony of this year's Island Games in Orkney.
Kelly, who is also an ambassador for this summer's event will co-host the opening of the games alongside BBC Radio Orkney presenter Stewart Bain.
Describing Orkney as her 'happy place', Kelly says she's 'thrilled' be an ambassador and says being asked to be part of the opening ceremony as 'an honour.'
The 2025 Island Games are due to be held in Orkney from 12-18 July.
In a short update from games organisers, Kelly adds she looks forward to 'soaking up the atmosphere' of the occasion as well as meeting competitors and spectators from all of the nations taking part:
