
Isle of Man cyclist Mark Cavendish has continued his superb form by winning the final stage of the Three Days of De Panne race in Belgium.
Cav took victory in a tight sprint for the line at the end of 119 kilometres of racing to record his second win in less than 24 hours.
His latest triumph brought praise from Team High Road Sports Director Allan Peiper who said afterwards "Mark is really exceptional. Nothing seems able to take away his self-confidence."
Mark has been nicknamed the "Manx Express" because of his sprinting abilities. He now goes into next weeks Ghent-Wevelgem race in Belgium as a strong favourite as it is considered the best Classic for the sprinters.
