Island athletes secure more snowshoeing success in Italy
Two more medals have been secured by Special Olympics Isle of Man in the snowshoeing competitions at the 2025 World Winter Games in Italy.
Having contested the 100m races yesterday - the four athletes of Dylan Butler, Kayneba Lubiljani, Rebecca Maller and Robert Molesworth have been taking part in the 200m events this morning (14 March).
Butler claimed his second gold medal in as many days winning the M02 final whilst teammate Robert Molesworth finished seventh having overcome an injury on Thursday.
Elsewhere, Rebecca Maller - having just missed out on medal positions yesterday - took bronze and third position in the F04 final.
In the F03 final Lubiljani managed fourth spot, just outside the podium places having claimed a bronze in the women's 100m the day before.
